The Cellars-Hohenort Hotel is probably most famous for its award-winning restaurant The Greenhouse and the fact that it’s a Relais et Chateaux hotel. But there’s quite a bit more to this wonderful hotel.
Situated in the leafy suburb of Constantia, away from the bustling city yet well-situated to enjoy all of Cape Town’s attractions, this 5 star hotel is rich in history and is the last word in understated luxury. I am privileged and happy to regularly offer touring and transport services to their guests – it’s often hard to remember that this is actually work!
Aside from all the luxury amenities, there is my special favourite – the gardens. Using a handy guide available at the reception desk guests can stroll through these beautifully maintained gardens at leisure, which is what I did yesterday when I had a few minutes to spare before collecting guests.
My photos don’t do justice to the garden delights of the Cellars-Hohenort so have a look at their website gallery for more.
